April 1: A PHENOMENAL ACTRESS. . .

Kristen with Jodi Foster in Panic Room (2002)

Kristen Stewart in Cold Creek Manor (2003)
Kristen in The Messengers (2007)

Kristen Jaymes Stewart or we all know as KStew, was born on April 9, 1990. HAHA. I think, we all know this already. :)
And I think everybody would agree that KStew is a PHENOMENAL ACTRESS. Yes?
Yes. Yes. Yes. I can see you nodding and agreeing with me on this...and it's not only us who agrees...
Including Rob...

“I mean, Kristen’s great. She’s, uh, one of the main reasons why I wanted to do this: just because of her body of work and also just the audition kinda made me feel very differently about it. I had no idea how to do it before the audition. I mean, she’s an extraordinarily talented actress.”
and...
"Kristen's the best actress of our generation, and that's why I wanted to do this movie. I don't know why she is. She's just better than everybody else."
See? :)

At the age of nine, kids like me were just studying and going to school, coloring stuffs, playing Barbie dolls and different games with friends...but in the case of Kristen, she already experienced being in front of the camera. Appearing on the movie, The Thirteenth Year. But sad to know she was just uncredited for the appearance. But still, it counts.

Then 2002 came, it was definitely the year Kristen got recognized. She starred alongside JODIE FOSTER. She played Sarah Altman, the daughter of Jodie's role.
It was definitely huge and an honor to work with Jodie Foster. It's JODIE FOSTER!

With that, it started off her career...
Kristen received great praises for her role on that movie.

Here's what Jodie Foster has to say about young Kristen:

BETTY: In this film, you have Kristen Stewart playing your daughter. Do you like working with children on set?
JODIE: “I love working with kids. I always have. She’s a great. We hung out. That’s what we did. Never talked about the movie. Never talked about the characters. In between takes we’d talk about bands and stuff like that. I was lucky to be stuck with her. Really young actors work the same way that I work. That is they don’t belabor it. All of the intellectual stuff [and research] they do ahead of time. And when it comes time to perform and somebody says action, you just do it. And then you talk about other stuff.”

and what the director has to say:
David Fincher: We cast Kristen Stewart [as the young girl], and she reminded me of a young Jodie Foster. She has that sort of great droll sense of humor.

Looking at the list of Kristen's filmography, it seems that every year there's a movie she's in. And it's not just one but two or three movies in a year.
She's really dedicated and passionate about her career in acting. And looking at the roles that she played, every role is pretty much different from the other one. It's really great that she can do that, shift into different kinds of roles, with that I think...she will really be that successful in her career. I mean she's already successful but even more successful. :)

Then in November 16, 2007 (in Philippine time...it's my birthday. HAHA), she was officially cast for the lead role of the movie, Twilight, as Bella Swan.

And she didn't disappoint. She's really perfect for the role. PERFECT.
I can't even imagine, any other actress portraying the role of Bella. It's really for Kristen.

The following year, she reprised her role for Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga: New Moon together with Robert Pattinson and the rest of the cast, but with a different director this time...Chris Weitz (Yay! :) our fellow, twitter buddy HAHA )

In 2010, 3 of her movies got a release.. The Runaways, Welcome to the Rileys and of course, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Joan Jett says regarding Kstew's performance in The Runaways: “Kristen was so into it, into the whole vibe of doing this,” Jett remarks in the new issue of Billboard Magazine. “I think she felt a weight and a responsibility to interpret it correctly. She was really serious about it and was watching me and asking me all sorts of questions, from speech aspects to watching my body language, watching where I stood, watching my guitar playing. She really worked hard to get it right.”

And as for Welcome to the Rileys: Anthony Breznican of USA Today said, “Kristen Stewart's shocking depiction of a self-destructive 16-year-old stripper/prostitute in Welcome to the Rileys is bound to scandalize. Those who prefer her only as Twilight's lovestruck Bella may be shocked, while others who know her more nuanced work in films such as Adventureland will see a fearless new side of the actress confirmed. . . . Stewart deserves credit for taking the risk of playing this part. It's a shockingly sexual performance...For an actress like Stewart, it would be easy to play it safe. Knock out a romantic comedy or a Nicholas Sparks weepie while the vampire cash keeps rolling in from Twilight sequels. Instead, Stewart is challenging herself, and moviegoers, too."

She got endless praises for landing those roles in the movie... way to go, Kristen! :)

At present, she already appeared in 24 movies... and 2 movies, slated for release this year which are On the Road and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. wow.

And I'm pretty sure, there'll be more movies that will be added up to her filmography. She's so young and has a lot of time for doing and making more movies.
Excited! Go Kristen! :)

What the fans has to say about Kstew being a  Phenomenal Actress?

@TeamBella says: She isn’t just the girl who plays Bella in Twilight, she played a rape victim at the aged of fourteen and that takes talent and skill, she plays a badass Joan Jett in the Runaways and cuts off her hair even though Summit tried to bribe her with a lot of money but she stuck by her character and Joan. That made me so proud because other famous stars will do just about anything if the money is right but she is completely committed to her job.
Pinky_Eline posted: she's a phenomenal actress, i've always thought so, when i was a kid, we watched panic room, i was still young and just a few weeks ago i started realizing, that films are acted by people and not just filmed, but anyway as i watched that film i was like:" mom, is this acted?" i don't really remember but my mom told me. but i really admired her then, not knowing i'd be obssesed with that girl 5 years later, and still, i admire her!
Anonymous posted: At last she is so talented i just love to watch her movies...
Anonymous posted: The kind of roles she plays are always difficult and different and she plays them with loads of passion. And it helps you sympathsize with people in different situations instead of just thinking of the steryotypical version of them. She's an amazing actress and can play a diverse range of genres. Like she's done horror, thriller, comedy, romance, drama etc.

Beastly.Beastly.Beastly.

I keep on repeating myself to my classmates the other day.I was asking them, if they have seen the trailer for the movie, Beastly.. and most of them doesn't have an idea that it exists. LOL.

The night before, I downloaded the trailer in my phone, so with that I was able to show it to them. And  I was really  glad that they  liked the trailer, and then they started asking me questions regarding the movie, like when will be the  release date of the movie here in the Philippines, who's the HOT guy in the movie and blah blah blah. HAHA

Beastly is "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST" given with a modern twist.
The plot focuses on Kyle Kingson, a wealthy and arrogant high school student. During an environmental event, he disrespects a classmate, who is actually a witch in disguise. The witch then casts a spell on Kyle to disfigure his body and face, giving him a year to find love or be left with his monstrous appearance forever. (from wikipedia...)

Alex Pettyfer plays Kyle Kingson, who only focuses on his outer beauty and not minding his attitude towards other people. Vanessa Hudgens, the girl who falls in love with Kyle? HAHA. Yeah. I'm sure of that. HAHA
And Mary Kate Olsen and Neil Patrick Harris are also in the movie. MK plays the role of the witch who casts the spell on Alex Pettyfer's character. NPH plays the  blind tutor. LOL

Reasons why I wanna watch it.. uhmm. the very cute story. the very cute and hot guy. the very cute on-screen couple. :)) I really really really wanna to watch it. WAHAHAHA.

Just check out the trailer, and see for yourself!

Check those fan pages and interact with other fans and the people who already watched the movie. HAHA

Release Date in the Philippines: April 23, 2011 :)

Last Kiss. . .

Thanks to anneguitar1!

I still remember the look on your face
Lit through the darkness at 1:58
The words that you whispered
For just us to know
You told me you loved me
So why did you go away
Away?

I do recall now
The smell of the rain
Fresh on the pavement
I ran off the plane
That July 9th
The beat of your heart
It jumps through your shirt
I can still feel your arms

But now I'll go sit on the floor
Wearing your clothes
All that I know is that
I don't know how to be something you miss

Never thought we'd have a last kiss
Never imagined we'd end like this
Your name, forever the name on my lips

I do remember
The swing in your step
The life of the party, you're showing off again
And I roll my eyes and then
You pull me in
I'm not much for dancing
But for you I did

Because I love your handshake
Me and my father
I love how you walk with your hands in your pockets
How you kissed me when I was in the middle of saying something
There's not a day when I don't miss those rude interruptions

But now I'll go sit on the floor
Wearing your clothes
All that I know is that
I don't know how to be something you miss

Never thought we'd have a last kiss
Never imagined we'd end like this
Your name, forever the name on my lips

So I'll watch you live in pictures like I used to watch you sleep
And I feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe
And I keep up with our old friends just to ask them how you are
Hope it's nice where you are

And I hope the sun shines
And it's a beautiful day
And something reminds you
You wish you had stayed
You can plan for a change in weather and town
But I never planned on you changing your mind

So I'll go sit on the floor
Wearing your clothes
All that I know is that
I don't know how to be something you miss

Never thought we'd have a last kiss
Never imagined we'd end like this
Your name, forever the name on my lips
Just like our last kiss
Forever the name on my lips
Forever the name on my lips
Just like our last…

~ Last Kiss by Taylor Swift

I've been singing this song for a while now.
Oh wait, I've been singing this song since Speak Now was released. It's one of the tracks that got past the 6-minute mark. Yes, it's very long. But it's definitely worth it. Once you hear it, you can't get enough of it.
Last Kiss is a very mellow song and you can feel the emotions deep within Taylor. (GOOSEBUMPS!) Pain, Hurt, Sincerity, you can really feel it in her voice all through out the song...
In every song from her album, there's a hidden message and it's presented through the capital letters in each lyrics. And regarding this song, FOREVER AND ALWAYS was formed.
I think, or many would think that this song was a "sequel" for her song FOREVER AND ALWAYS in her Fearless album, which was clearly dedicated to Joe Jonas...The guy who dumps all the girls on that phone? HAHA. In Forever and Always, it was like all about her anger towards the thing that had happened between them. The sudden break-up and all those stuffs that she had to go through.
But here, on her song, Last Kiss, it was about remembering all the moments they've shared. And at that time, it was impossible for them to end up like this. It was like the idea of break-up was impossible. She never imagined that there could be an end to all the happiness that she was feeling.

"Never thought we'd have a last kiss
Never imagined we'd end like this
Your name, forever the name on my lips"

But even though they had broken up and didn't ended being together for "forever and always", I think Taylor really and truly loved him...That's just how one's first love is. No matter how many years pass, that person that you consider your first love will always have a place and mark on your heart.

DECODING: LONG LIVE BY TAYLOR SWIFT

Speak Now, Taylor Swift’s new album, is one of my favorite records at the moment. All of her songs in this album were great and it is because it talks about her experiences that happened to her in the past two years, where we can surely relate to. From her new found love to the moment she felt her heart broken; these events on her life and emotions she have felt were artistically and beautifully translated into songs. Her songs may just seem to be talking about kings, queens, and Superman but if you try to dig deeper, you’ll be able to know more about her and her feelings towards the people and things around her.

Taylor’s album was purely inspired by an event that happened to her friend’s life. And it was then that she realized that there are times in her life that she hadn’t grabbed the opportunity to speak up for herself. So with that, she decided to use it as her inspiration for her new album. And the end result of that, was a great album filled with confessions and revelations about things she haven’t said to a particular person at a particular time that have been or is part of her journey in life.

King, Queens, Dragons, Hero, Kingdom these words are repeatedly mentioned in the song, Long Live. People may just think that this song is just a fairytale-inspired one. Well, yes. Knowing Taylor Swift, she will surely write about stuffs like that. But if you analyze what the song truly means, you’ll figure out that this song is dedicated for her band, The Agency.

The song Long Live talks about their journey as a band. She mentioned in the song the things that they had wished for from the start, the things that they traded in order for them to be successful musicians and the things that they are being thankful for.
In the opening line, “I said remember this moment, in the back of my mind. The time we stood with our shaking hands, the crowds in stands went wild” and the line “I said remember this feeling, I pass the pictures around. Of all the years that we stood there on the sidelines wishing for right now”, Taylor is constantly reminding her band to remember all the things, and the feelings that they’ve experienced from the beginning of their journey and up until now to where they are. It is serving as a preparation as to when the time comes that it will be the end of the road for them, at least they’ve got something to cherish and share their future families what craziness they had experienced being in a band and being on the road, all over the world.

Another line that struck me the most is “It was the end of the decade but the start of an age.” She was referring to the part that they were starting a new era on music; they will be opening up a whole new phase of music. And they really did live up with this; they’ve made the young generation appreciate Country Music. They made it a lot cooler, but I’m not staying that the country music back then was not good. They’ve just given country music a twist.

“Long Live the walls we crashed through, all the kingdom light shine just for me and you. I was screaming Long Live all the magic we made and bring on all the pretenders, one day...we will be remembered”, was the chorus part of the song, which just gives a shout out to the band. A thank you and at the same time an assurance that by the end of things of what they are doing right now; they will surely be remembered by the people because of their passion for music.

But the part that is really etched into my mind is where the song goes “will you take a moment, and promise me this. That you’ll stand by me forever. But if God forbid fate should step in. And force us into a goodbye, if you have children someday when they point to the pictures, please tell them my name. Tell them how the crowds went wild; tell them how I hope they shine.” The lyrics were just head-on powerful and how she sang it, really made me teary-eyed, especially when she sang this on her concerts. Her voice was pleading, begging for her band mates to share those stories to their future-families and everything that they went through as a band. She was looking straight into the future of the band. She knows that surely there will come a time that they will need to go on separate ways, for some or maybe all of them will decide to leave for the sole reason of already wanting a family or it could be other stuffs. It was just a preparation; at least she had already said her thanks and appreciation to them.

This song was the last track off the album, it was the like the very special song from the album, and I think it means so much to Taylor. She sings this song on every concert she has on her tour and when she sings this, she makes it to a point that she introduces her band to the crowd. It was her own way of telling and showing the world that she loves and appreciates them so much.

            LONG LIVE…
